By scheduling and/or receiving services from Yani’s Loc Spa, clients acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

BOOKING POLICIES

Clients are responsible for reviewing the current Yani’s Loc Spa Booking Policies prior to scheduling. These policies include, but are not limited to, deposits, cancellations and rescheduling, late arrivals, no-shows, final payment, additional guests and applicable service requirements.

By completing the required booking acknowledgment, the client confirms that they have reviewed and agree to the applicable Booking Policies.

PRIVATE HOME-BASED SALON

Yani’s Loc Spa operates from a private, home-based salon in Chicago. The exact address and arrival instructions will be provided to confirmed clients prior to their appointment.

At this time, appointments at the home-based salon are limited to existing Yani’s Loc Spa clients and clients personally referred by an existing client.

Scheduling an appointment does not override this requirement. Appointments booked by individuals who do not meet current client eligibility requirements may be canceled at the discretion of Yani’s Loc Spa.

ADDRESS & PRIVACY

The salon address is a private residential address and is provided solely for the purpose of attending a scheduled appointment.

Clients agree not to publicly post, publish or distribute the residential address, including on social media, websites, public reviews or other public platforms.

ARRIVAL

Clients should arrive at their scheduled appointment time and follow all provided arrival instructions.

To respect the privacy of the residence and other appointments, clients should not arrive excessively early or enter the property before instructed.

ACCESSIBILITY & STAIRS

Yani’s Loc Spa operates within a multi-level private residence. Access to the salon service area requires navigating stairs. Access to the restroom also requires the use of stairs.

The location may not be suitable for individuals who cannot safely navigate stairs.

Clients with accessibility concerns should contact Yani’s Loc Spa before booking to determine whether the location can reasonably accommodate their needs.

FLOORING & FOOTWEAR

The residence contains wood flooring and other residential flooring surfaces.

For cleanliness and safety, clients may be required to remove or change outdoor footwear and use designated indoor footwear or non-slip coverings while inside the residence.

Specific footwear instructions will be provided as applicable; which may include the requirement of wearing grip-socks/slippers.

GUESTS & CHILDREN

Only the individual receiving services may attend an appointment unless prior approval has been provided.

Children receiving services are welcome; however, they must be able to remain reasonably seated and cooperative throughout the appointment.

Children and other guests who are not receiving services are not permitted unless specifically approved in advance.

PREMISES, PERSONAL SAFETY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Yani’s Loc Spa operates within a private residence. Clients acknowledge that accessing and using the premises may involve stairs, steps, wood flooring, outdoor walkways, driveways and other areas typically associated with a residential property.

Clients are responsible for exercising reasonable care while entering, exiting and moving throughout the property and for following all communicated safety instructions.

By entering the property and receiving services, clients acknowledge and voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with accessing and using the premises, including the risk of slips, trips and falls.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yani’s Loc Spa and occupants of the residence shall not be responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from a client's failure to exercise reasonable care or follow provided safety instructions.

PARKING, VEHICLES & PERSONAL PROPERTY

Clients are responsible for safely and legally parking their vehicles and complying with posted parking restrictions and applicable laws.

Parking is at the client's own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yani’s Loc Spa does not assume responsibility for theft, vandalism, weather-related damage, towing, tickets, collisions or other loss or damage involving a client's vehicle while attending an appointment.

Clients are responsible for securing and maintaining possession of their personal belongings while on the premises.

DESIGNATED CLIENT AREAS

Because Yani’s Loc Spa operates within a private residence, clients are asked to remain within designated salon/client areas except when accessing the restroom or when otherwise directed.

Areas of the residence that are not designated for client use are private.

HAIR & SCALP PRODUCTS / ALLERGIES

Professional hair and scalp products are used during services.

Clients are responsible for disclosing known allergies, sensitivities or previous reactions to hair/scalp products before services begin.

Yani’s Loc Spa cannot guarantee that products or the salon environment are completely free of any particular allergen.

Clients with severe allergies or sensitivities should contact their physician and notify Yani’s Loc Spa prior to their appointment to discuss their needs.

SERVICE & SAFETY

Clients agree to follow reasonable safety and service instructions while on the premises, including instructions regarding stairs, flooring, seating, shampoo services and designated client areas.

Yani’s Loc Spa reserves the right to modify, discontinue or reschedule a service if circumstances arise that make performing or continuing the service unsafe or unreasonable.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

For safety and security purposes, video surveillance is in use on the premises. By entering the premises, you acknowledge and consent to being recorded on video.

SERVICE RESULTS

Hair and scalp characteristics vary by individual. While reasonable professional care will be taken when performing services, specific results, longevity or outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

CHANGES TO POLICIES & TERMS

Yani’s Loc Spa reserves the right to modify its Booking Policies and Terms & Conditions as business needs, services or operating conditions change.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the policies and terms presented at the time of booking.

CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By scheduling an appointment and completing the required booking acknowledgments, the client confirms that they have reviewed, understand and agree to the applicable Yani’s Loc Spa Booking Policies and Terms & Conditions.
